1941 Packard Rollston Town Sedan
During
the 1920s and 1930s, the very wealthy often had their automobiles
custom made to suit their individual needs and desires. The Rollston
Company was one of the best known and respected coach builders of
this era. This Packard was the last custom body Rollston ever built.
This town sedan was a part of the world famous Harrah Auto Museum
in Reno, Nevada until 1982. Since then, it has undergone a total
restoration. The dark ural green of the exterior elegantly contrasts
the camel interior, made of the best wool broadcloth available.
The carpet was loomed in Great Britain, and the trim is hand-polished
mahogany.
